It really depends on the modifiers. If you can't set up a team then get more friends or join a clan. Nothing you have said or can say will make a valid argument against matchmaking in every activity so long as you can still make your own team. You can still form your Fireteams like you are already planning to for these game modes anyway.

Most people I play with can't get normal right, I really don't want a bunch of people facerolling the various challenges. Might as well open it up to the same matchmaking system as standard strikes if you've got the proper experience bar.

- Matchmaking is ruing game modes like gambit and crucible, manageri is next.
- Too long, too in depth, too much cooperation for random matchmaking to really work effectively.
- It maintains the aura that they're making something very radically different from anything before, despite it being just an amalgamation of different genres and mechanics.
As for Nightfalls, there's no reason why there's no matchmaking. Matchmaking would make that obsolete. Raids have unique environments and boss, they should want all their playerbase to experience them. Arkage User requested ban Banned.

You could even manually use the whisper command, but because you don't know his full battletag, online dating site headlines you can't actually whisper him. These things are a bit harder to come by with matchmaking. But none of this info is available in-game. Of course, they would have to both put some effort into that, along with actually giving out loot that's worthwhile in the first place. It's such a stupid and backwards thing. Bungie makes awful decisions.
Bungie s No Matchmaking Stance for Destiny
This game is so easy you could easily lfg everything. For the last boss all you need is a bubble, a well and patience for gods sake thats it. The raids however, match kundali should not have matchmaking. Guided games does not cut it.
Bungie's No Matchmaking Stance for Destiny? So Bungie will need to look into this for the future. So in that regard, I think Bungie's philosophy worked. Destiny is the least social online game I have ever seen. Also, people are better at playing Destiny and the difficulties have been tuned, so normal Nightfall strikes don't hold much of a threat to a high power player, or a veteran of the series.
It's amazing how much they talk up the social aspect of the game and yet provide almost zero in game tools to socialize. The lack of tools is perplexing. This presents unique challenges as there are some positives that come from the situation they have made as well as the negatives I'm sure many of us have all encountered. It would be a waste of time with randoms. This is exactly the way Raids should be with matchmaking for a Story mode for the experience and requiring a Fireteam for Normal mode for the loot. Matchmaking would do more harm to raids than help. There will always be something to complain about and we'll get rage until they nerf it. The Nightfall should probably have it now.
It's ridiculous that the only way to communicate with another player is to either send them a fireteam request and pray, or add them as a friend and hope they add you back. Who thought that made sense? Because people do not know how to play, and they aint very good. Just make a list for chill people and it always seems to work.
- Not a game about memorizing patterns which cause an issue with timing resulting in a glitchy mess.
- The difficulty of the raid doesnt justify making it difficult for people to experience.
- How many corrupted strikes have you done where people dont know to pass the ball between each other to power up the ball?
- At least guided games tells you how long the queue is, and gives you a decent match at the end.
- The time it took you to make a post could be used to make a fireteam.
- So I take it heroic uses token revives?
They are rightfully concerned enough to not provide matchmaking options that will have high probability of being poor. When they're offline, you can't check anything. Nothing happened, other than putting me off ever trying it again. Obviously, the queues are extremely lopsided with solo being upwards of a half hour sometimes vs a minute or two with a clan member.
Yep, they make you sit in a queue and don't allow you to do anything else while you wait. Bungle is just too damn big to move at the pace it needs to meet the game's and the audience's needs. As soon as they allow matchmaking for the raid there's going to be complaints that it's too difficult and unbalanced, that it's not fair unless you have a premade.
Teams on normal with matchmaking consistently don't finish the segments in time. Heroic is harder with extinguish. What gets taken away if a real matchmaking system is implemented? While I agree that having comms helps a lot, if people can do it without why not open it for matchmaking.
